    • RE: http request

      @Eunanibus

      Could you please post a SMALL example xml file?
      (Along with what I SHOULD see?)
      Everything I have tried
      (local xml file / file on NAS in local network / file from api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather?id=2172797&APPID=**** )

      first gives me “Awaiting Results” and then “No Results” or “Failed Request”

      When I pull the stuff in my browser, I get the files. I’m banging into a wall here…

      Best would be if I could just pull a file from my local NAS. Once I have the correct format, I can write them all day long (live in SQL world)

      Thanks

    • RE: Email

      @ronny3050

      Looks interesting.
      Request: Multiple email accounts?
      OR - better still since I just need the ALERT: any way I can just get a NUMBER of emails I need to read:

      joeshmoe@gmail.com - 17 unread
      suzieQ@public.com - 5 unread
      UncleSam@gov.com - 0 unread

      I’ll have a look at your module once I sort one other problem on my MM2 out.

    • RE: Fresh Install. Overlapping calendar / weather modules

      @jeremy
      I got stuck on something like that too…
      a) read the thread https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/254/sachin-s-mirror/25

      b) try a module @KirAsh4 wrote for me (and that I changed in a miniscule way)
      https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/373/alternating-modules-to-save-on-real-estate

      Good luck!

    • RE: Wunderlist acess token

      @shgmongohh

      Sebastian -
      I used https://a.wunderlist.com/api/v2/lists for the APP URL
      I used http://localhost:8080 for the Auth Callback

      it worked - for a while (I changed my password and just requested a new key)

      Give it a try & let me know

    • RE: Custom.css

      @KirAsh4
      I am having trouble with that, since I run my pi headless & inspect the output from somewhere else (mirror is in workshop).
      I am having trouble interpreting the Chrome output. But I solved the problem the way I always do: brute hack. I like the idea of TD better, though.

    • RE: Module WunderGround problem

      @shgmongohh
      It’s not obvious what to do - but you can look at the instructions for, say, MMM-Wunderlist:
      “Navigate into your MagicMirror’s modules folder and execute git clone https://github.com/paviro/MMM-Wunderlist.git. A new folder will appear navigate into it.”

      So you need to do the same for WUNDERGROUND (but use the correct git). In other words, execute
      sudo git clone https://github.com/RedNax67/MMM-WunderGround.git

    • RE: Custom.css

      @KirAsh4
      Was actually trying to set the FONT SIZE (didn’t realize that that has its own special problems). I like the idea of take a “dummy” element like TD & will see if that works. Thanks for the hint!

      Happend to me too (and to others: see here for commiseration)

      THIS is the setup that worked GREAT for me:

    • Work of the Day (wordnik) font size

      @Vendittelli

      I really like your module; however, I am trying to change the font size to be more like in the calendar. I am trying to learn about .css files (I have a post out), but was wondering if you can let me know what you are using. I looked at the .js file and inspected the elements, but I am pretty new at this.

      So - how would I go about making all the font sizes identical to the “Origin” one? Where would I find what you did, and how would I override it in a custom.css file?

      Thanks for any help
