@sdetweil Any idea why I’m getting an error when running discover and saying yes to sync?
error: Unknown error occurred: [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/home/pi’
error: Use -vdebug
to see the full traceback.

@Beh Okay, I apologize because I’m sure this is a very basic question but how do you create an array in the config? I tried doing [], [] but that didn’t work.
Also, I keep getting this error when discovering and press y.
Should vdirsyncer attempt to create it? [y/N]: y
error: Unknown error occurred: [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/home/pi’
How can I bypass this?
@elorand Hey man, I know this was a little while ago but I’m struggling with this atm. I subscribed to 3.0 but when I look at my services tab, it’s still showing the free version. When I create an API, it doesn’t seem to work even with editing the node helper to the url you posted. Is there a specific way to generate an API from them with 3.0?
Is there a command I can use to see if my gpio is getting any information?
I have attached my pir sensor and used this.
https://github.com/deg0nz/MagicMirror-Display-Controller/blob/master/readme.md
Though, it doesn’t seem to be working. How do I know if it’s working or not? It hasn’t gone to sleep after 14 seconds. Should I lower the time on the potentiometer on the pir sensor?
@sdetweil so i should use cp? i moved it to /root
Hey guys,
So I am using Cowboydude’s module for the PIR sensor to turn off and on the mirror. Following the instructions here
https://www.magicmirrorcentral.com/pir-sensor-raspberry-pi-magic-mirror/
When I typed in “sudo chmod +x pir.py”, it says the directory or file cannot be found. I know it says to install it in the root folder but I do not know how to do that. So I improvised and used sudo mv after installing it into /root. I do not know if that would provide the same results. Could anyone give me some guidance?
To my knowledge and from my research, google assistant and alexa SDK’s cannot access pandora.
Has anyone found a way to make it work?
