@johnnyboy I like the idea of what you proposed. I was thinking I’m currently running the MM on a Pi2 if I were to purchase a Pi3 (which has a substantial increase in power) could it run MM with 3rd party modules with more stability then it would on the Pi2?

@johnnyboy Yes, I understand. Thanks a lot mate! Daptly is quite steep for what it is and I live in one of the most expensive cities in the world (whenever that was last surveyed)

    • RE: Adding a background video?

@broberg I have a MP4 video saved on the Pi, I configured the ‘VideoSRC’ with the path of the video and it wouldn’t play, is it due to it only being able to play html videos from the web?
      Cheers,
      -Tony

    • RE: Adding a background video?

@broberg Thanks so much, I will install it soon as possible because I’m quite busy at the moment with school. Sorry, but would it be also possible to have like a playlist of videos playing?

      Much appreciated!

    • Adding a background video?

      Hey all!

I was helping a mate of mine set up his magic mirror the other day and he asked me an interesting question: Instead of having a black background is it possible to have a video play in the background? IF it’s possible how would this be achieved?

      Kind regards,
      Tony

@broberg Thanks mate! It does reduce the size of the album art, you wouldn’t happen to know how remove the title of the album? So the module could drop down a little further as everything is still cramped up. Thank you for your help so far.

@strawberry-3.141 Yes, you were right! It worked! Thank You! BUT unfortunately the album art is still covering the last two lines of the weekly forecast. Here is the CSS for the module: https://github.com/PtrBld/MMM-Scrobbler/blob/master/MMM-Scrobbler.css Is it possible to reduce the size of the album art? I’ve tried playing with the numbers but only managed to move the module more to the right…

    • Album art from LastFm Module covering weekly forecast?

Hey guys, I hope you all had a Happy New Year! I installed the Last FM Module over the recent holiday, but once I started up the MM I realized that the Album Art is covering the forecast as shown below. Unfortunately I only know Python fluently and my CSS isn’t the best hahaha :) I would like to keep this module in the corner is it possible?

    • 'Bottom_Bar' not really at the bottom...

Hi guys, first of all I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year. Over the holidays I’ve been working on my MM, I ran into a problem when setting up the stocks ticker. I’ve set it in the config file to ‘Bottom_Bar’ but it doesn’t sit at the bottom of the screen, is there anyway to actually make it sit at the bottom? I would also like to move the news feed down if it’s possible.

    • Moving module closer together?

Hi all, I’m extremely new to the Raspberry Pi and I’m having trouble finding what I need. I was wondering on how I would move a module up, I understand how the region system works and everything, but in this particular occasion I don’t quite understand on how I would move this module up (indicated by the red arrow) as shown in the picture attached: 0_1481426220201_2016-12-10-220132_1360x768_scrot.png

    • News Feed

      Hi all,
Just wondering if it’s possible to change the format the news is shown on the mirror, from the brief one-line appearance at the bottom of the screen to a list of four maybe five headlines - as the weather is shown. Is this possible via modifying the current module or does a new module have to be made?

      Thanks in advance
      Tony
