    • RE: MMM-MirrorMirrorOnTheWall - Alexa voice control to hide/show modules and display text/images

Hey @joanaz thanks for the awesome module. The module works pretty well. Also tried the image search and youtube which work very well. Main issue so far is I can’t turn off the video without closing all modules. I’ll look into that tomorrow.

    • RE: MMM-Hue

Would it be possible to display the wake up and sleep times of the bulbs/groups? Is that supported by the api?
I use my hue lights to wake me up in the morning. Some days I need to wake up at 5am others 6am. I find myself forgetting to change the wake up time in the app. If I could display the wake up time on my MM2, I would remember to change the wake up time which would be perfect.

I’m using a bunch of graph already… why not using Grafana to record the data and the iFrame module to display them in your MM ?

That’s a good idea actually. I don’t know what grafana is, will look into it. I might just use the temperature logging python code I have and add a graphing portion to it as well and then use the iframe module to display the graph. Sounds feasible on paper.

I’m logging room temperature and humidity to a csv file. How would I go about using the data to graph it to my mirror?

    • RE: MMM-SoccerLiveScore

That looks like a really cool module. I’ll give this a try this weekend.
About suggestions, maybe show the goalscores and goal times.
If a match is still going on, display how long the game has been on for. Somewhat like livescore.

If you use Alexa in the background, you can use iheartradio. Not sure if iheartradio has the stations you want but you can check.

This is exactly what I’ve been doing for the past few months. Plus you can use tunein for all your live radios.

    • MM2 and Bluetooth audio (pulseaudio). Audio crashing

I have this issue on my set up where whenever I launch the mm2 may it be in server mode only or in the regular mode it crashes the bluetooth audio on my Raspberry pi 3.
Some background, I use my MM2 on my desk as a dashboard and have amazon alexa running on it’s own on the pi. I have a bluetooth speaker hooked up which works fine on its own but whenever I start MM2 the bluetooth audio stops. Sometimes it happens after 5 mins other times after an hour.
I ran it in server mode and used the console on my browser to view the logs but couldn’t find anything related that could be causing the issue.

So my question is can MM2 cause the bluetooth to crash? How can I find out what is causing this issue?
Does someone out there have a set up with a working bluetooth connection for audio playback?

    • RE: Yet Another Voice Module (Sphinx + Alexa)

@clumsy_ninja This module has no visual feedback. You only get an audio prompt which indicates that alexa is listening and a second audio prompt when the audio stops.
