@sdetweil so, just checked. It is way better but still not 2020 like. I mean I have a 1GB fiber connection and the Raspy is connected via wifi on 5GHz line. I would expect the video to stream smooth without the little stop&go. When I have MM2 running and I switch to terminal or Geney it always takes a few seconds to react. It is very slow then. By the way, I am using a SanDisk microSDXC Card 64GB ExtremePro A2. So I guess a potential card issue is sorted right?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone out there has the same issues or if it is an issue on my MM2 setup.

I have seen several youtube and streaming modules and I actually tried some. But when I run the MM2 the quality of the youtube video is sh*t basically. It stops very often, almost slow motion.

I run the latest MM2 version, all apps and SW is up to date. I am using a Raspberry Pi 4 with 4GB Ram and as a display I use a 32" HP Z32. The Raspberry Pi is connected via HDMI and every other module works fine.

Yes, when I start MM2 in general the whole system slows down like crazy. Thats why I was wondering if there is anything I need to change in the system settings or so to speed this up. I have read about some driver updates or so but I wanted to ask you guys first.

Hi. I have now managed to set up my first MM2 on a HP Z32 in portrait mode and so far all good.

Since the setup I am playing around with fine tuning and I tried various fonts.

To be honest I didnt find a really nice one which can be used in a moderate big size but which does not interfere with the other modules due to the size (meaning, that I dont have to resize the font or modules to have the full entries displayed without being wrapped).

Long story short :-) What fonts are you using on your mirror? Picture would be nice.

Hi. Is there a way to use for example two unsplash collections, one for daytime and one starting from 19:00 on? Should be possible right? Something like…

(the below should not represent code but just the logic):

If local time between 6:00 and 19:00 than use collection: “1234”
else
if local time between 19:00 and 6:00 than use collection: “9876”

Anyone the same issue or request? Idea how to solvethis?

@klaernie Yes, at the end of the day I wanted to have a nice overview of what is installed and what status it has:

• Hue Lamp 1 - On
• Aqara Door sensor X - Open
• Aqara Window sensor X - Closed
  etc.

Hi, is there a chance to get a module which shows all active smart devices and status.
I was thinking about a combination of the hue module with something also showing the xiaomi door sensors etc.
Or maybe a module showing only xiaomi sensors and aqara sensors? Happy to discuss.

Hi all

Anyone inputs on how to make vdirsyncer becoming active and triggered on events?
I use it to sycn my private ical. I followed the tutorial from Beh and I managed to have two private ical Calendars showing up on the mirrror. Manual sync works but the automated.

If I check the status of vdirsyncer.timer the following is populated:

● vdirsyncer.timer - Synchronize vdirs
   Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/user/vdirsyncer.timer; enabled; vendor preset: e
   Active: inactive (dead)
  Trigger: n/a

I would expect to be active and not inactive or “dead” :-)
Furthermore I would also expect to have a trigger

A bit of help would be great.
