@duxnobis changing size of the video window makes a big difference…course on a 4k screen, 800c600 is pretty small already

@bhepler said in Ghost Overlay / OMXPlayerTransparency: Video of the ghost in the mirror can be found here: https://youtu.be/6hb1N1tYcPc As an aside, this morning I changed the command to omxplayer -p -o local --loop --alpha 85 boo.mp4 to cut the sound from the video file. It woke me up when the mirror switched on this morning at 5 AM. Realy nice solution! Looks awesome! Could you sum up all the things needed for that? Reading through this 4 Pages is very difficulty. Would be very thankful.

@jabellas said in MMM-htmlvideo, Basic video file player: @cowboysdude Yes, thanks. I ended up doing just that. It seemed to me initially counterintuitive that it would play faster from an external location than locally but it is perfectly smooth if I host the video on a separate web server. I agree with you!! Glad you got it working better :)

Hey hello, I have my magic mirror and I customize the mirror with some modules, but I want to install a video player in the middle, I think it will be awesome. My idea is to have some videos in one folder and then the module will read and play one each other without stop . I don’t know how to make modules, or program in JS, if someone could help me to understand just more it will be great. Thanks to all!
