@duxnobis changing size of the video window makes a big difference…course on a 4k screen, 800c600 is pretty small already

As an aside, this morning I changed the command to omxplayer -p -o local --loop --alpha 85 boo.mp4 to cut the sound from the video file. It woke me up when the mirror switched on this morning at 5 AM.

@cowboysdude Yes, thanks. I ended up doing just that. It seemed to me initially counterintuitive that it would play faster from an external location than locally but it is perfectly smooth if I host the video on a separate web server.

Hey hello, I have my magic mirror and I customize the mirror with some modules, but I want to install a video player in the middle, I think it will be awesome.
My idea is to have some videos in one folder and then the module will read and play one each other without stop .
I don’t know how to make modules, or program in JS, if someone could help me to understand just more it will be great.
