@jjhdtv the film should be on the back of the glass, not front. so would never be touched

Hello all. I’m new here, first post. I have been wanting to make a magic mirror, most likely a photobooth to start. However, I quickly became discourage with the high cost of the glass. (say for a 40" tv) Just curious if anyone has considered or attempted to use the off the shelf smart bathroom mirrors (sold on ebay and amazon) and repurpose the two way glass for a magic mirror project? (adding digitizer and large monitor) The price seems cheap ($300 for 47x23" ) and free shipping. I’m assuming the whole area of glass on these units is transparent. It is late, and I needed to bounce the idea off of those who may have been down this road. thanks,
