Mine arrived 2 days ago. I wasn’t at home and the one who received the package didn’t make sure the mirror was ok.
I still didn’t open the box, but it shows no external damage, so I guess the mirror will be safe inside.
I need to find some time to open it and check everything is OK, but finally is at home!

I’m very pissed for you, dude. I hope you can sell them out promptly. And again, I wouldn’t mind if in the future I need to acquire another mirror from you, you ask me for my personal email/telegram/phone or/and ask for a warrant (like the 10% of the cost) before closing the list. Surely people will be more involved when they already spend some money.

I did it again and have now made advance payments again because I believe in the good in people and the community. these are entries that have been on the list for a very, very long time. It would be disappointing for those concerned if the respective entries had to wait for the next bulk order and I don’t want to annoy anyone. It is a total of two mirrors that have not yet been paid for. I hope I made the right decision…

Now the good News: I commissioned the production of the mirrors this morning :) the production time is currently 4-5 weeks. In the meantime I am already building all the shipping boxes so that the mirrors can be sent out to you all within 2-3 days of arriving at my place :)

I really hope they pay on time, you don’t deserve to risk your money or have it in a limbo until someone else wants a mirror of those dimensions. If I were you, and continue doing this awesome work in the future, I would do like others said before: at least ask for a working email and not rely on the forum notifications, which are enabled by default, but people can just unsubscribe anytime, and set strict timelines since the very beginning, so no one can be annoyed if they don’t read their incoming email and the time deadline has passed. I can understand you need to wait until 10 people have paid, but being like now 17 people, and just 2 who haven’t paid, I would simply discard them for the current batch if those before mentioned conditions were met.

Hurrah! so we can expect around second week of June to the mirrors to be shipped! Glad to hear about progress finally! And all of this in the middle of the greatest pandemia in the last 100 years. You’re awesome!! ;)

I agree. You should ask for money first and then order the mirrors, so you won’t get your fingers caught.

@clyons I’m not the one in charge to announce anything (is @Goldjunge_Chriz), but as I was hanging around here now I will tell you that I probably won’t be wrong if I say this community order is just for EU countries.

How much time we will wait for those who haven’t paid yet? I don’t know other people, but I’m waiting since the last community order back in June 2020, and I’m quite anxious to get finally mine. And now we finally have a closed list, waiting for people to pay is a bit infuriating.
Could you please set a time deadline for those who didn’t pay yet? I found a lack of respect to make wait 15 people for 2 without a deadline. I would find reasonable to wait until the end of this month, it would be almost an entire month timeframe, in my opinion I think it is time more than sufficient.

@goldjunge_chriz I don’t like to be that guy, but I think you should state a deadline for payments before another COVID-19 wave force the delay of the shipment and the rest of us who already paid, suffer the consequences…

I wouldn’t mind paying an extra 9€ for polished edges, but as I’m planning to put the mirror within a wooden frame, I think it will be useless, and I can save ((0.80x2)+(0.50x2))x9=23.4€, isn’t it?

also the 10 mirrors are not a fixed value. They can also be 11, 12, 13 etc.

since the glass supplier is on vacation until January 11th, 2021 anyway, no order can be placed until then ;)

It would have been cool to start the project on the holidays, but I didn’t even think we could reach 10 mirrors before the end of the year anyway.

@nunoary you need to calculate the area, and the minimum area to pay for is 0,4 m2. Your mirror would be 0.31m2 (0.73x0.43) so you’d pay as 0,4m2.

0,4m2 x 355€/m2 = 142€
polished edges would sum 9€
shipping to portugal, 79.90€

So, 222~231€ depending if you want polished edges or not.

There are still room for two mirrors, so hurry up! And luckily we can receive the mirror by the start of the new year! :D

Need to see what benefits have polished edges if the mirror will be inside a wooden frame. Don’t know if there is a tempered glass options and what its cost would be.
