I replaced my 55" LG TV and decided to have some fun with it. Made this large bedroom MagicMirror and am really pleased with the outcome.

I was wondering if it’s possible to build a module using citymapper api (https://citymapper.com/api) that can show a commute, for example, from your home to work, which would include fastest route, different train/bus routes and times. Or perhaps can show any route between 2 postcodes in the UK, as citymapper does. And maybe looks like citymapper when it shows you options for routes and transportation options.

I am not a dev and have no idea how this would work but if anyone could build this, it would be amazing.

@nissin I couldn’t get any motion sensor app to work properly so I have two plugs coming out of the mirror. One powers the pi which is always on and the other goes into a motion sensing plug that turns the monitor on when someone is in the room. No other added Electricals although I will probably put a philips hue light strip around the inside of the frame. Calendar module is just the standard one and the weather is the weather underground module which I really like.
