I saw a post about a smart mirror and saw that it didn’t take many parts to assemble and decided to make one. I had an old monitor laying around (13x15), it was DVI however, so I did have to buy an adapter, but I found the monitor really useful as it has to external USB ports and two internal, in addition to the 4 the raspberry Pi has I have 8 total, and I got my raspberry pi from amazon in a kit. I also got my frame and 3mm, 2 way acrylic mirror from Amazon for my 16th birthday! Finished with what I want on the magic mirror. I liked having the bigger mirror than monitor to have more room to actually have a mirror and for cord management.
