      Done.

      I did again a “npm start dev” and I have new errors written in red :

      [2020-04-01 22:14:46.668] [ERROR] WARNING! Could not load config file. Starting with default configuration. Error found: Error: Cannot find module ‘/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-Hotword/snowboy/lib/node/binding/Release/electron-v6.1-linux-arm/snowboy.node’

      Yes there is an error in red :

      [2020-04-01 22:06:21.797] [ERROR] WARNING! Could not load config file. Starting with default configuration. Error found: Error: The module ‘/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-PIR-Sensor/node_modules/epoll/build/Release/epoll.node’
      was compiled against a different Node.js version using
      NODE_MODULE_VERSION 64. This version of Node.js requires
      NODE_MODULE_VERSION 73. Please try re-compiling or re-installing
      the module (for instance, using npm rebuild or npm install).

      and other errors still with PIR module, but the errors are written in white

      EDIT : I try a “npm rebuild” ?

      No, the mirror stays black with the mouse arrow in the left upper corner.
      I did a reboot and a “pm2 restart mm”, but nothing works…

    • RE: Update MMM

      I did the “npm install”.
      I fixed 2 moderate vulnerabilities and it still remains 8 low severity vulnerabilities.

      I don’t get if this can have consequences or not.

      @sdetweil said in Update MMM:

      @mattx38 do

      cd ~/MagicMirror
      git checkout package.json

      I did it but the command did not return any information.

      @sdetweil said in Update MMM:

      @mattx38 erase package-lock.json

      Did u modify package.json?

      And git checkout package.json to restore it if u are ok w that

      Ok, I erased the package-lock.json file.
      What command should I use to check package.json ?
      I’m a beginner…

      @sdetweil How can I acknowledge the update anyway (it will overwrite the two files) ?

    • Update MMM

      Hello,

      I juste saw there is an update of MMM.
      I try to launch the " git pull && npm install " command but I have a warning message that the following packages would be crushed :
      -package-lock.json
      -package.json

      Then, how can I manage updating my MMM ?
