@smalluk from the magic mirror folder do

      npm config:check

Fix first error reported, run again

      Repeat.

All braces and brackets must be matched, all lines should end in a comma

Text to the right of : must be in quotes
Numbers or true/false not in quotes

Look at the original for examples

      @Stoffbeuteluwe

      Really need to fix this

EACCES user "root" does not have permission to access the dev dir "/Users/patrickhahn/

The assumption is that root can access everything

      See

      https://github.com/nodejs/node-gyp/issues/454

Need an extra parm on sudo command

sudo npm install --unsafe-perm --verbose -g

    • RE: Problem with using mac addresses for MMM-NetworkScanner

@jav26122 cool … we all do that.

I spent an hour or so this last week making changes to my mm setup in a separate copy.
I made some changes, restarted. No effect etc. Etc… Til I realized I was editing one and running another . Never works that way!!

Did u run the device scanner the module provides?

Are the devices wifi, located on the other side of a switch?

    • RE: MMM-google-route and coordinates

Looking at the code, it appears u could change the code to support train

      travelMode: 'DRIVING'

But not thru config altho that would be an easy change I think.
