    • RE: npm start dev

Thanks ost - but I have tried it both from direct physical keyboard and SSH using this command. I’ve been reading a few other problems related to this issue but all seems to come down to “not installing as root user”. Which i’m not - I’m installing as pi. So still scratching my head here.

    • RE: Analog clock not scaling

I found that not placing the default calendar module directly below the clock this helps stop the repeating. However I could not find the root cause of the problem.

    • RE: npm start dev

OK i think i’ve solved it. magic mirror HAS to be started (npm start) from a terminal window in the x-window server. you cannot start it over ssh.

@sean Hi Sean, and thanks for the effort put into this module. I too have the same problem as @sforsyth - just a white screen and magic mirror does not load. I have installed puppeteer and chromium as per your install instructions but still no action. I’m Just keeping an eye on this thread looking forward to a fix! Thanks again.

    • RE: mmm-moon-phases

love this module! good stuff. Does anyone else have the problem of the moon image not loading at startup? All i get is a blank square with two sides 1px wide. However, when I restart MM it usually works.

great module! I’m curious to know how to configure it for “small”… i can’t find any clue in the documentation apart from trying to fiddle around with the .css. thanks!

@ostfilinchen I was just using the standard install script that comes on the tutorial.

      curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/master/installers/raspberry.sh | bash
