@xxlulabelle sorry, don’t think we are talking the same… so you run the auth program, and it pops up a blah blah wants to access your devicename and u say Allow, then an error appears, can’t reach xyz… and in the URL string is the code=djf;asjfgjae;gk;FGJADJFG’AJFDGL’K AFDJG LAFDJG L’ADFKJ the thing after the code= IS the code u are supposed to copy ‘djf;asjfgjae;gk;FGJADJFG’AJFDGL’K AFDJG LAFDJG L’ADFKJ’ using my made up junk above i have a different app on a different platform that implements a server at the return url and captures the code= value for you… so none of this trouble

I have run through the setup for the Google Drive Slide Show but in my mirror I am just getting a white square. I created Credentials as asked but there was no option to select “other” as stated in the instructions so I don’t know if this makes any difference. Please be aware I am not an expert at this or coding, complete newbie. The mirror in the office has an electrical outlet behind it. It makes for a very clean installation. I put a hardware switch on the outside of the frame to turn the system on & off. I think this is how I’m going to go from now on. Having a switch on the mirror with an external plug is convenient and lets you swap out various lengths of power cord. [image: 1591705639828-external-plug.png] All of my mirrors have a power strip inside the frame. It gives me multiple outlets, surge protection and enough juice to power the Pi. Wire the power strip to the power socket, leave the power strip turned on, control the power via external switch.

@xxLulaBelle alternatively you could use a gesture sensor and run it with the MMM-GroveGestures module. I have one to swipe pages and to start/stop a news podcast with MMM-Podcast2. Works great!
