    Hi,
i’m freshly new to rasp and the Project and was happy to find a core package to install.
But … after starting the auto-install i’ll get an error:
grunt-yamllint@0.2.0 requires a per of grunt@-0.4.0 but None was installed
    …
    Unable to install dependencies
Whats wrong? Something in the package or did i have to install something manually?

    Greets

        Hi,

i did it once more from the scratch. With a new sd-card formatted and a new jessy download.
Now it works - nearly :-)

        I follow These steps:
but i didn’t have a calender on the right.
And if i have Trouble to update “git”?

        From here
        https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror
        i’ve tried
        git pull && npm install
        with result:
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

        So …
do i have a git repository?
        Where should i go (Directory)?
Which repository is the right one?

        Thanks for help!

@MyMirror said in Core installation fails:

            git pull

            It’s like this …

            git clone https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror.git

Then go to the directory it’s in [MagicMirror]
            then do your ‘npm install’

You’re right!! You’ll get this :) When I started I had similar problems… now I’m learning how to write modules
            :)

THIS is the setup that worked GREAT for me:

Really - even someone like me could not mess it up.
