27" barn wood frame mirror (Alexa controlled)
-
I built the frame out of old barn wood. I wanted to make it look oldish, so perfect fitting was not needed. I hooked up a 2m led strip using a 12V power supply and some transistors. Everything is controlled through Alexa using IFTTT.

Very nicely done!
What are the rotary switches in the last pictures for? -
Thank you.
To answer your question, there is no rotary switches. The grey things are wire connector to connect the led strip wires to an wire extension.

Congratulation ! Very Nice Work.

Awesome work! I’m planning on building my first smart mirror for my girlfriend. How difficult was this for a person who doesn’t have any programming skills? Also how much was the total cost of this project?

What Alexa module did you use? I’m still failing with setting up voice recognition for my own mirror
