        From the MagicMirror folder do

        npm start dev
        

        Then as per my previous instructions

          MagicMirror will not quit, but it might be a good idea to check why this happened. Maybe no internet connection?

              @ernst-jan and syntax errors

              From mm folder do

              node tests/configs/check_config.js
              

              Start at the top and correct errors reported, rerun til no errors, then do the npm start again
