    Hi there!

Now I want to introduce my Smart Mirror to you. Some time ago there was the idea of having a shelf in the bathroom next to the shower so that all the utensils were at hand. First the shelf should only have a little light, so cables were laid. During the construction phase, the plan came to integrate a Magic Mirror. The rest of the chestnut wood from the vanity was used for the cabinet. I also tried to bend solid wood to have a perfect grain. It went on with the hardware selection, in addition to the 21.5 inch display, an audio amplifier from justboom was also to be used. A Raspberry 3B controls the whole thing. Since I have successfully run multiroom audio components based on the Max2play image throughout the house, this was also the first step with the Magic mirror. So the thing with the music was cleared and plays perfectly. Then I wasn’t sure if it would be that easy with the Magic mirror, but to my absolute surprise, everything could be installed step by step as described in the online instructions. The whole thing starts when the room is entered. So I simply start the mirror’s power supply via Loxone, when I leave the room, the Raspberry is shut down cleanly and then the power supply is switched off with a time delay. How the whole thing looks, you can see in the pictures.
