    @hango yep, sorry, missed it…

    you don’t open index.html with a browser… its the shell that MM uses to place module output

      @Joshsamuel error file not found, looks like you didn’t follow some install instructions,

      there was a step

      npm install

      looks like something happened to the node_modules folder where the libraries are saved

          @sdetweil I ran npm install in the MM directory, it then said new patch version of npm available (6.14.4 > 6.14.5). I then tried to install this using

          npm install -g npm

          Then got the following message with some errors:

          pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm install -g npm

                @Joshsamuel did u examine the error in index.html as suggested>

                what does the log look like, both the console log (or pm2 logs --lines=100)
                and the developer window console?

                you have broken code, so nothing will be working right

                  @Joshsamuel

                  npm ERR! Error: EACCES: permission denied, access ‘/usr/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/graceful-fs’
                  npm ERR! { [Error: EACCES: permission denied, access ‘/usr/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/graceful-fs’]

                  npm itself is often installed with sudo priviledge (like here, hence “permission denied”).
                  Therefore you’d need to do sudo npm install -g npm
