@uros76 Chris told me that the side with the protective film on is the ‘outside’ of the mirror.

Protective film? Mine did not have any protective film.
@Goldjunge_Chriz can you indicate how do I recognize which side is which?

that’s true. There was no film attached to one of the mirrors at the factory. then that was probably yours :) the film also has no function, but is simply intended to show the correct side.

If you compare both sides with each other and hold them in the light, you should notice a side that is a little lighter and reflects better. this is the coated side, i.e. the side you look into. The other side has a little less mirror effect.

Yaaay lucky lottery winner :D I did it this way and hoped it’s correct. Thanks for confirming it.
I am now waiting for a frame to be built. Then assembly and mounting on wall…

I luckily got mine in one piece too, since the box seemed a bit roughed out.
I have a small chip on one of the edges, but probably doesn’t interfere with anything.
I haven’t tested anything out yet, just want to make sure it was safe :D

it has always been like this 😅 you can often see that the boxes had to go through a lot, but that’s why the mirrors are so well packed that nothing happens anyway ;) so far the mirrors have always arrived safely.

ivanov_d had the bad luck that someone walked around on his package and stepped on it several times (there are many shoe prints on it) and that the box was probably misused as a ramp or something. It would have needed an armored wardrobe as shipping packaging to avoid damage here …

The matter has now been finally clarified and Ivanov_d has his damage replaced :) Since otherwise all mirrors have reached the users to their satisfaction and now the unfortunate case of Ivanov_d can also be concluded positively, it is time for a new list :)

You can now register again. The conditions from the first thread remain the same ;) I’m not opening a new thread because I think we can continue the orders in this one. So go on guys, let’s see when we get the 10 users full this time :)

                    AT LAST! \o/

Count with me! And let’s hope it won’t last a year to fill the list… :fingers_crossed:
Need to see what benefits have polished edges if the mirror will be inside a wooden frame. Don’t know if there is a tempered glass options and what its cost would be.
                    So for the moment:

                    # username width (m) height (m) real area (m²) area to pay for (min. 0,4 m²) location of delivery additional comments (like polished edges)

no, with a mirror for our application (hanging on a wall in front of a monitor) that is not necessary at all. Tempered glass is only used where it is exposed to particularly high mechanical influences. and that is not the case with a magic mirror.

I am interested in joining the order, do the mirrors come with pre-made mounting holes?

There are no mounting holes in the glass. What do you need this for? These would be possible via a special order, but first I would have to ask for a price.

@Goldjunge_Chriz ok, just wondering because I saw it in all two way mirror sellers.

How about 120x70 to Austria? Both GLS and DPD should offer this as standard service (300cm max. girth) ?

Yes that’s true. Of course, my wooden box is also bulky, it’s supposed to protect the mirrors. Therefore I can send up to the following maximum size:
2x short side + 1x long side less than or equal to 270cm

The shipping surcharge for this XXL size is 20 euros on top of the normal shipping costs

@Goldjunge_Chriz why 20€+? It is the same XXL parcel class like the smallest mirrors (50x50).
Can I send the courier to your place?

because I’m building a larger wooden box for it. the shipping costs also include the manufacturing costs of the box. I need both more material and more time for it. Therefore it costs 20 euros more because I make an individual wooden box for each mirror that is larger than the standard. shipping is organized by me as I have all mirrors picked up in one go. It is therefore not possible to commission a carrier yourself.
