      Hello Community,

I just finished building my mirror with a IR-Frame to be able to use it to control my smarthome-appliances. I’ve seen some touch/interactive modules, now I’m wondering if it would be easier to use and edit existing modules or to just host a smart home control website that then gets integrated via an i-frame.
Is there anyone who is interested/has already done a similar project who can give me insight on how to realize my build with the least work possible or, if I have to put in the time to create a module, ideas on how to make it flexible enough so anyone can use it with the least amount of work so I can make an appropriate first contribution to the community :)

@mozaku Have you had a look at MMM-Touch? It might be a way of giving other modules touch interaction.

I’ve given a few modules touch support and I’m working on more of them. E.g. MMM-Keyboard already has, MMM-AVStock will have touch support. I’d rather keep that function inside the modules.
Not sure how your other apporach would look but I’m not too fond of using iframes. Would rather setup a proper smarthome module.
What are you trying to integrate for your smarthome appliance?

@mozaku Awesome! Where do you get the IR frame?
