      I am using the PIR Sensor on my Mirror and it seems to work fine. But I find that
      sometimes the screen will turn on in the middle of the night with no one around.
      It will also do a total reboot for no reason at all.

        @lhops Try to log your temperature, the reboot sounds like a temp issue.
        It would also suit the PiR that registers a rising temperature.

          @fribse

          I will install a fan to the Raspberry and see if that solves the problem. Thanks for your help.

            @lhops for a small protocoll add the following lines to crontab
            (enter crontab -e at the prompt):

            @reboot echo “---- start ----” >> proto.txt
            */5 * * * * date >> proto.txt
            */5 * * * * vcgencmd measure_temp >> proto.txt

            That moves the date and the temperature to a file called proto.txt every 5 minutes (and an eyecatcher at the start of the raspberry)
