First, I want to say thanks for those awesome software and the people who built the modules. Awesome solution for me. Found something to do with my kid’s old tablet. I’m running server only mode on my Linux box and Fully-Kiosk Browser on the tablet with these modules:
MMM-Wallpaper with r/EarthPorn on rotation
Clock
Calendar
MMM-OpenWeatherForecast
MMM-SimpleText that pulls from a text file that I populate with a python script to let me know how much data I have left on my mobile hotspot plan.If I wanted to pay for the PLUS version of Fully-Kiosk Browser, I’d be able to dim on a timer or wake up on motion detection, but the free version doesn’t do this, so it’s on all the time. No biggie for me.
