new update/upgrade script, ready for testing
-
@bobwilliams ok…
-
@bobwilliams and one thing to try, is to reinstall again…
mv MagicMirror MagicMirror.savethen use my updated installer
bash -c "$(curl -sL https://www.dropbox.com/s/rlh710ng0zwv3vp/raspberry.sh?dl=0)" so we can see if the install works, and then work on the update again.. -
Well, let’s start reinstalling
-
Installation was successful, but the mirror did not start
-
@bobwilliams can you show me the pm2 logs
-
no longer, I removed raspbian, and put it all over again …
-
I think the problem was not in your script, but in my system
-
I will reinstall now and let you know
-
the mirror did not start, although for the first time it started immediately …
-
@bobwilliams Post the install.log
And the pm2.logor send to me
-
@bobwilliams Not sure what u said.
-
@sdetweil unfortunately I can’t. in the morning, raspberry did not turn on
-
@sdetweil a month ago when I installed the mirror according to your script, everything worked right away. but did not start yesterday.
-
@bobwilliams Ok. Send me the log if u get a chance. Thx
-
@sdetweil I did run this the other day when I was having an issue with node_helper not found. It didn’t fix that, but another message you posted did. The upgrade worked fine, but may be worth adding that git checkout of the node_helper index file to the script as a quick fix.
-
@buzzkc Good idea. I can check if the file is present and restore it if not
-
@sdetweil a few days ago I copied the image from a flash drive, now I restored it and everything repeats, again these files that he asks to save or not … if you say yes, the update does not work, if you say no then the mirror stops working
-
@bobwilliams i need to see the MagicMirror/installers/upgrade.log…
and also, open the developers window (ctrl-shift-i) and select the tab labebed ‘console’ and scroll up to find any errors…
also the pm2.log
-
@sdetweil ok try to do tomorrow, today was a hard day very tired
-
@sdetweil Everything has appeared to be simpler than we thought. I moved the files which were the obstacle on the way of working of your script to another folder, then updated the mirror using your script. After that I moved those files back and now mirror is working.
