my mirror freezes!
-
@sdetweil i understand. but doesnt this means also no updatenotifications for any other modules will be shown?
-
not sur it’s related to this modules.
because it have self protect for this
it display
fatalif an error was found -
if mirror freeze, i think it’s an loop in another module if no connexion
the better way is inspect
MMM-NetworkSignalwhen no connexion -
@mr_cd maybe… i haven’t been in the module
-
@Bugsounet Hi. thanks for your reply.
The Mirror freezes before i installed the MMM-NetworkSignal module.
I installed it to see if there is a loss of connection or not. -
yes , i inspect helper, it will be protected
so it’s an other …
-
@Bugsounet yeh, I fixed it a couple year ago cause it got things out of order
-
personaly, i don’t think, the problem is related to default module
Third Party:
MMM-ImagesPhotos - in use
MMM-Logging - in use
MMM-MyWastePickup - in usei will see
-
@Bugsounet MMM-Logging was also installed after the Mirror freezes. Maybe i can disable the Third Party modules and see if it still freezes?!
-
of course try ;)
-
humm, i think to other things…
Do you use Raspotify program ?
-
No i dont - but i used MMM-Spotify but i disabled it because of this freezing problem. But it still freezes…
-
But there is one suspect thing.
When the Mirror freeze, im not able to connect with VNC. But how affect the MM Software the VNC Connection? Maybe there is a Problem with WLAN Connection…?! -
so continue to disable modules one by one…
and default too … to discover the responsible module
-
@mr_cd : yes but it will not freeze… just display warning
-
@mr_cd how much swap space do you have? and is used?
free -m will show info
-
@sdetweil

if the mirror is running. But lets define the word freeze : I mean the clock is still working - but the modules like wheather or calender ar not updating…
-
@mr_cd but u also said vnc doesn’t work.
-
@mr_cd clock is working from internal timer… others require internet connection to update
-
@sdetweil correct. But when i plug in the USB mouse into rasperry iam able to work. After rebooting the system it works every time without problem
