Forum updated - I could use your help
-
it’s this feature.
since last updatecard
tag is now ignored
I have no problem detected on forum access with chrome on my linux platform -
@Bugsounet sorry, access is a bad word… i post reply, it does not show up until I manually refresh page
then if I reply in that forum again, my previous reply text is shown in the new edit box… the previous replay did not complete -
@Bugsounet >it’s this feature.
still doesn’t help me… where would I use this? and why?

@sdetweil humm yes i have the same problem
where would I use this? and why?
some developer use this feature for showing wildcard for displaying stats and link directly for the purpose module
for me, i use it on new module advert and when click it open a new page to my github account -
Browser: Brave (Chrome based): Version 1.7.92 Chromium: 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Post reply with theme other than default, doesn’t show right away, don’t clear out the typing/preview windows upon reposting to same topic, it was so bad that I had to navigate away from forum to see post, a simple reload didn’t fix it.
Github cards don’t function.
edit: Now I’m frequently getting random 503 errors.
-
@BKeyport 503, refresh too soon
i do not get relief from restoring back to default profile

@sdetweil “Card” is the method used to show github links in new modules,
card:BKeyport/MMM-Multimonth
used to provide a cute little hotlink to https://www.github.com/BKeyport/MMM-Multimonth for instance.
-
@BKeyport put that text in a message posting?
-
with brackets outside of it - [ card: ]

I have the option “After posting a reply, show newest post” checked in my settings, yes.
And for this very reply now the text of my last reply from five days ago was pre-filled again in the reply box.
I was logged out for several days now.I guess we need some systematic testing to narrow this down. But sdetweil tried already all cases I could imagine:
- log off and on again -> no change for me
- clear cache and cookies -> haven’t tried yet
- restart system -> no change for me
- use different browser -> no change for me
- use different OS -> no change for me
- use different hardware -> no change for me
- use different account -> haven’t tried yet
I think, everything but a new account was already tested by Sam without success. Any more suggestions?
