      Hello!

I am wondering if anyone here have any experience with any companies that are able to make a MM frame? I have looked around from time to time, but I mostly only find frames that is thin or dont have the necessary breath for a MM to be behind the glass.

I dont want to make my own frame (mostly because I’m not a very good woodworker, and I dont want the MM to look rubbish with a bad frame), and are therefore looking for other solutions.

It would also be necessary for the frame to be shipped to Norway.

You may have luck checking with the local school shop class and/or technical college. People learning how to use the tools can easily make the frame for a monitor. I’m not familiar with Norway’s educational system, but someone has to make furniture and they have to learn somewhere. Find them.

Thank for both of your suggestions! Local schools are closed until the end of summer atm, but if I cant find someone to help me out with it I might try there when they open.

I checked out with a local company that could make one for me, but the best price that I got was 430 USD, and thats way to much imo.

I’m using a standard photo aluminium frame for my mirror. The monitor covers only the bottom half of the mirror. The problem is that this construction needs to be placed on a board or something else, the monitor inside the frame is to heavy for the frame.

                Hi,
another idea may be to look at a kitchen-store. Maybe they have a used kitchen-unit with a glas-window you can take as a front-frame. The frame behind is much easier to built because you need no miter. Just buy the wood for the back-frame in a hardware-store, ask them to cut it into pieces. Paint it as you like, should not be so expensive.
