      This is for @MichMich … on the ‘Configuring the Raspberry Pi’ wiki page, for the rPi-3, disabling the power save mode for wireless is done different.

      In /etc/network/interfaces, under the wlan0 section, add:

      wireless-power off
      

      A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?
