Okay. At least I know it is not something I did.

General question: How does one uninstall a module? Or do you just comment it or // it out?

@matthewlawson3 You can delete it from your config entry and go to the MagicMirror/modules directory find the module and delete it so for example :

MagicMirror/modules/MMM-Whatever

You go to MagicMirror/modules
then delete the MMM-Whatever directory…

Gone!

You can comment out the config entry or delete the entry.

Easiest way to delete the module itself. Click your way to the modules folder, enter the modules folder, trash the MMM-NewsFeedTicker.

@Matthewlawson3 the doc doesn’t mention it, but by default in only shows the 1st 5 items regardless of how many sources u have

to get all of them do

maxNewsItems: 0,

in the module config above the list of sources
----- edit: i was incorrect… the list gets rebuilt each time , never mind
~~BUT ----- this causes a problem, the list is never cleared, so it continues to grow and grow~~

haven’t seen the hang yet… one possible source in fetcher.js,

comment out the items=[]; line as shown below

		reloadTimer = null;
		//items = [];

its the same name as the global , so there could confusion over which list to add to.

Thanks bro. I don’t even use this module. I was just trying to help out the user above. Hopefully, he’s paying attention and has read your suggestion.
