        The news source footer, how do I make that display in the bottom right in css?

          @swvalenti You can try this:

          #NEWSAPI .footer {
              text-align: left;
          }

            @mumblebaj I’m trying to do something similar, but can’t quite get it to work.

            I’ve got the module running in the centre bottom, and want to run it vertically rather than horizontally (so it’s more a block than a footer).
            It’s almost there, except I can’t get the title to look right. Sometimes it’s OK (goes horizontally in a single line) but other times I get the text either going one word per line stacked vertically, or a block of the first few words like that and then the rest below in a correctly oriented line.

            Is there anything I can adjust to make it work better and look right (all the title text going horizontally, line wrapped if it’s too long to fit)?

            My config currently looks like this:

                   {
                        module: "MMM-NewsAPI",
                        header: "News",
                        position: "bottom_center",
                        config: {
                                apiKey: "#########################",
                                type: "vertical",
                                choice: "everything",
                                pageSize: 20,
                                sortBy: "publishedAt",
                                drawInterval: 1000*30,
                                templateFile: "template.html",
                                fetchInterval: 1000*60*60,
                                query: {
                                    country: "",
                                    category: "",
                                    q: "",
                                    qInTitle: "",
                                    sources: "",
                                    domains: "bbc.co.uk",
                                    excludeDomains: "",
                                    language: ""
                                    }
                                }
                    },

            and custom.css:

            #NEWSAPI.vertical .header .title .content .footer {
                text-align: center;
            }

            Still it’s nice to have this module working in the UK again! :)

              @DarrenHill Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Seems like the QR code is the culprit. Will advise once I get a chance to have a look and push a fix for it.

                @DarrenHill Have made some changes now.

                Here with QACode:

                      All up and running - that’s a fix from my side :D
                      Thanks again for that.

                      Might have a play with the layout as the pics etc are a bit small (and there’s space to expand things around them in my layout), but I can handle that.

                        Hi, I have been running your MMM-News module for a couple years now. As of Sunday when my mirror restarted the module no longer shows up anymore. I tried to reinstall it and checked my sources in the config and nothing was altered.

                        Can you help me try and troubleshoot what could be happening? Let me know what I would need to provide to help. I’m not super savvy with this stuff, the mirror was actually built for me.

                        Thank you in advance.

                            Sorry let me rephrase, I have the mirror auto restart every Sunday and I noticed that’s when the module disappeared. This is for the MMM-News module not sure if this thread is talking about a different one.

                            I’ve checked my API key which still seems to be valid when testing in a browser. I also deleted all my sources except 1, so I’m not really sure what happened?

                              @dondula ok, can you look at the logs?

                              pm2 logs --lines=100

                              100 is any number, its the last xxxx lines. it defaults to 15…

                              so as its tuesday there could be a lot of info there…

                              could try to clear the logs and restart … to get just the newest

                              pm2 flush
                              pm2 restart MagicMirror

                              wait

                              then

                              pm2 logs --lines=50

                                    Hi there, thanks for the response. When I went to reinstall this module it was pulling from your git repository, so I assumed it was yours as well.

                                    If I am wrong please let me know. I had posted my log errors above and wasn’t sure what was going on.

                                        @dondula I have just tested MMM-NewsAPI with the config that you have and it works just fine.

                                        b37aaee2-6c20-4c06-b2bc-4097776703c0-image.png

                                        Config used:
                                        dd0e04c0-6109-495f-b3d8-fe1986fa89eb-image.png

                                        Your key seems to be working fine as well using MMM-NewsAPI.

                                            @dondula Just thinking out loud, there was a MMM-News which has been archived now I believe. I handed it back to the original author of the module. You can install MMM-NewsAPI if you like? Same config, just need to update the module name in the config.js from MMM-News to MMM-NewsAPI.
