      Hello,
      my MM works fine but since a few days the module MMM-DBF does not work any longer. No text is shown and sometimes it´s comming back again but after a few hours it´s gone again, even after a restart of the Raspi.

      I installed the whole MM new but it´s the same mistake.

      Anybody else with this problem?? MMM-DBF did work fine for a year or longer without any problems.

      Thanks for your help…

        @Volkae it’s 3 years since last update. my guess is the service changed

        I’d post an issue to the module GitHub. but w 3 years since last update I’m not optimistic…

          @Volkae Please try my fork:

          git clone https://github.com/KristjanESPERANTO/MMM-DBF

          Let me know if it runs more stable.

            Hey Kristjan,
            thank you for your post.
            Maybe there is a problem with a few stations.
            If it shows “Hamburg HBF” it works correctly since two days,
            if it shows “Hamburg Eidelstedt” it works for a few hours correctly and then it stopps,
            if it shows “Hamburg Elbgaustraße” it does not work (it worked fine before).

            Do you think there is a problem with the data-stream from DB?

              I have now run “Hamburg Elbgaustraße” for two hours without any problems.

              Which version of MagicMirror, which of node (node -v) and which of npm (npm -v) do you use?

                @KristjanESPERANTO
                Node = v16.19.1
                npm = v8.19.3
                MM is the newest version

                It´s frozen after 20 hours and more. Even after a restart of the raspi MMM-DBF does not show anything (New an old version of MMM-DBF).

                  A shot in the blue: Update your npm. I have version 9.6.1.

                    @KristjanESPERANTO
                    now my npm is 9.6.1 but nothing changed
                    At this moment “Hamburg Eidelstedt” does work, “Hamburg Elbgaustraße” does not work
                    Are you sure that the problem is not the data stream from DB?
                    How long did you test the stations?
                    Sometimes it works fine for more than 15 hours or more…

                      No, I’m not sure. You could contact the operator of the API and ask if he sees anything suspicious at the station.

                      How long did you test the stations?

                      Only 10 hours. At the moment I don’t have the possibility for longer tests.

                      It would be nice if we could find and eliminate the cause of the problem. I just don’t have the capacity to delve deeper into this at the moment. An alternative would be to switch to the following module for this station: https://github.com/KristjanESPERANTO/MMM-PublicTransportHafas

                        It seems Hamburg Elbgaustraße ist not in the DB-Profile. Cannot find the station-id.
