Update needed

Hi all
It’s been a long time since I was last here.
I’ve not used my MM for over a year.
I’ve just booted it up and I need to update the MM software, as it’s 219 comments behind.
Will I just be better off with a fresh install?
I can’t even remember how to upgrade it.
Any help would be appreciated 🙏

if it’s buster, the latest release won’t run there.

to help migrate , back up your config and modules list
use my backup/restore

all of the scripts can be run directly from github.

@Bungle68 Personally, I’d just start over.

If you don’t need, you don’t have to update.
You don’t know whether it will be better to do update, you don’t have to.
If you decide to do update, I recommend to start over from formatting SD card. It will be easier.

@MMRIZE I’m thinking that probably going to be the easier option.
Just need to make time to get it done. 👍
