Weatherunderground - currently - hourly - daily - configurable
-
Thanks for all the help, its working now with the correct directory and icons in the directory and icon settings in the config.js file.
I didn’t realize that the bit temp was also part of this module so I don’t need to call the original weather module for that ether.
Great work!!!

Love this. Thanks. There are a couple of issues I’m working through, trying to help fix. The first is that beaufort icon isn’t showing because this isn’t defined in the CSS files. I would expect it to be in
weather-icons-wind.css
but its not.Adding the definitions -
.wi-wind-beaufort-0:before { content: "\f0b7"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-1:before { content: "\f0b8"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-2:before { content: "\f0b9"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-3:before { content: "\f0ba"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-4:before { content: "\f0bb"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-5:before { content: "\f0bc"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-6:before { content: "\f0bd"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-7:before { content: "\f0be"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-8:before { content: "\f0bf"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-9:before { content: "\f0c0"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-10:before { content: "\f0c1"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-11:before { content: "\f0c2"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-12:before { content: "\f0c3"; }
to
MMM-WunderGround.css
fixes this. -
The next issue is that the config variable
hourlyInterval
gets ignored. This can be fixed by changing line 238 tovar forecast = this.hourlyforecast[f * this.config.hourlyinterval];
-
@CommanderB Thanks for cleaning up my messes! :)
The icons you seek are in the included weather-icons.css. I do agree you’d expect them in weather-icons-wind.css
However it’s entirely possible that MM uses the one weather-icons included in the vendor dir first. They’re not in that one..wi-wind-beaufort-0:before { content: "\f0b7"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-1:before { content: "\f0b8"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-2:before { content: "\f0b9"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-3:before { content: "\f0ba"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-4:before { content: "\f0bb"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-5:before { content: "\f0bc"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-6:before { content: "\f0bd"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-7:before { content: "\f0be"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-8:before { content: "\f0bf"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-9:before { content: "\f0c0"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-10:before { content: "\f0c1"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-11:before { content: "\f0c2"; } .wi-wind-beaufort-12:before { content: "\f0c3";

if you put a copy of weather-icons-wind.css into the vendor/weather-icons folder that should fix it.
-
@jagerpower You can set hourly to 0 in the config. This will remove the hourly forecasts… You can also adjust fcdaycount to the number of days you want to be shown.
-
@RedNax is it possible to remove the English translation in the alert?
-
Could be done by manipulating the string, however this might break things when other languages are selected. Could even be dependent on your pws… I’ll have a go at making it configurable…
-
It’s a bit of a hack, but after getting the new version from github you can define
alerttruncatestring: "english:"
in your config. The alerttext will hen be truncated at the defined word/string
-
@pugsly you should not let users add stuff to the vendor folder! Plugin should be self containing :)
