I’m disassembling my LCD Monitor to harvest the tasty bits for my mirror and there’s a metal “inner” bezel around the monitor. Can I pop this off? Will it screw up my display by allowing light to leak out?

(My mirror surface is much bigger than my monitor’s surface area, if that makes a difference.)

Or: should I not bother and just keep the metal bezel in tact because it won’t net any better of a display?

@mizzoudavis I leave the bezel intact. Other area not covered by bezel (outside the monitor), you simply add black/dark tape/paper/paint.

        regards,
