first installation on RPi3 failed

Folks, this is my first time to install MM, and I never had any prior experience on this.
This is the error I am getting, anyone have idea why?

your npm version is very old.
Try to first update npm via

npm install -g npm@latest

better reboot after installing new npm and node versions
