whenever I unplug my pi and plug it back in the fan will go crazy and make a loud noise. What I do is unplug it and plug it back in multiple times until it goes back to normal. Anyone know why?

Hello, I am new to raspberry pi and I wanted to create a magic mirror. So far I have all the software and everything ready to go however I wanted to add Alexa to my mirror. I was planning on using Alexa but since I am new to magic mirror and raspberry pi I wanted to know if someone has made a tutorial on how to install Alexa onto the device. Has anyone found anything like that?

@yawns I know I am replying to this after a very long time but I really liked this Idea. How would I be able to implement this into my magic mirror so that when Alexa talks the image appears and when she finished it goes away?

I am also having the same issue after updating. I tried changing the Maxiumum days in the cofig.js file as well as the weather forcast.js module but nothing seemed to work. I think it might be a bug in the update.

hey, I was using the default weather module and I changed it to only pull up 6 things from my calendar. I was able to successfully fo that but now I want the calendar module to be a lot bigger but keep the size of everything else the same. how would I be able to do that?

Hey, I was looking for a module that was similar to Dark Sky for weather. Dark sky does not allow new api’s since they got bought by apple. I really liked the icons from the dark sky module and I was wondering if someone could make the same thing just using an API source that was still available?

I was looking for a neat and clean weather module for a magic mirror. I really loved the Dark sky module but now dark sky does not give you new API’s. Does anybody know of any good modules similar to dark sky?
