      @wered doing the manual install and i’m getting this error after running tempcontrol config, after connecting to the repo: “tempcontrol.conf.sample: Permission denied. Cannot write to tempcontrol.conf.sample (Permission denied)”

      Any advice? Thanks in advance

      edit: fixed it by granting rwx access to the files. Having an issue with the display not turning off during the right hours though. My tempcontrol.conf looks like:

      onhour= “08 09”
      parttime= “true”
      partial1 = “”
      partial2 = “”
      partial01 = “”
      partial02 = “”

      @Mykle1 not only is it cheap, it was a great learning experience for me, both overclocking and learning how to integrate other hardware into your Pi setup. Still working on an on/off switch that can also switch between OS’s tho…

      @cowboysdude just saw this my bad! I’ve disabled the logo for now, i’ll try a full reinstall and maybe that’ll undo some of the tinkering i’ve done on it. Thanks again dude

      I have a fan and heatsinks, very simple addition and makes a big difference

      I forget what the exact error was, I’ll check it out when I get home. Does this setup require a GPIO connection? My fan right now just has 5V power and ground wires

      @wered running a multibootpi setup with retropie, raspbian and libreElec. Trying to install this on Raspbian, and i couldn’t get it done with either install method, apt-repo or manual. I’m pretty new so it may be an error on my part

      @wered I can’t install rpi-temp or tempcontrol, says it can’t locate the packages. Would you mind checking if there’s something wrong on your end?

    • RE: MMM-NBA

      Hey man had a suggestion for you. It would be great if we could get the module to stretch across the full bottom bar, and even have the option to show two scores at once. Love the app so far, I’ve been playing around with it a bunch. Still can’t get my NBA logo to look right though

    • RE: My First Build, 24 Inch In A Custom Frame

      @hartattack Yes! Looks super awesome, I have Raspbian/RetroPie/Kodi on the same Pi3. I’m a beginner so it took me a while to set it up and configure but yes it’s pretty easy. Check out multibootpi.com and just look through the builds until you find one you like. I recommend using one that has a video walkthrough because there is some nuance.

      I’m installing a switch to more easily toggle between the three, but as of now it’s very very simple to switch between them with the help of a keyboard and mouse, or just using the command line.

      I even have a tv mount that swivels so I can rotate the screen landscape to play games, and then rotate it back to portrait for the mirror display, really like how it turned out so far

    • RE: My First Build, 24 Inch In A Custom Frame

      @AdamMoses-GitHub didn’t even think about heatsinks on the tv. That could work, it seems like the heat comes more from the screen itself and not from the board. Since it’s in my bedroom, I’ll probably just write a dinky little script to turn it off from 9pm-8am, should give it some time to cool down and also take care of screen burn, which I’m worried about because I run retropie on the same screen

    • RE: My First Build, 24 Inch In A Custom Frame

      @AdamMoses-GitHub do you have any fans/heatsinks? i’m not worried about my pi overheating as much as i’m worried about the tv, it gets hot real fast. I suspect this is normal for tvs, we just don’t know about it usually because there’s a bezel and we rarely touch the backs of our tvs

    • RE: My First Build, 24 Inch In A Custom Frame

      @AdamMoses-GitHub do you leave it on 24/7? My pi is overclocked and cooled with fans/heatsinks but my monitor runs pretty hot. I’m thinking about writing a script to turn the mirror off when I’m asleep/not home, have you had any issue with overheating yet? I see the thermometer warning in the upper right in your first few pics

      @cowboysdude no problem! I played around with all combos of header/logo and didn’t have any success. I’ll make sure I have nba.png but I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t. I’ll let you know if I figure it out

    • RE: MMM-NBA

      @cowboysdude update: fixed it, didn’t have my own timezone set correctly, sorry for the trouble! Still no logo though but working great otherwise. I’m curious though, how does it treat focus_on teams differently? Longer display times? Displays first?

      Looks really really good man, I’ve wanted an NBA module forever. Thanks again dude!

    • RE: MMM-NBA

      @cowboysdude getting an issue where the logo shows a broken link, and no game data loads. I focused on Lakers/Warriors, since both of those games are over for today is that why I’m not seeing any data? I see NBA SCORES 3/21/2017 and the horizontal line, but no logo or data

    • RE: MMM-NBA

      Looks good man! The only thing I would suggest is to be able to add a list of favorites, so that if my fav teams are Thunder/Pistons then I always see when one of those games is on, and maybe a rotating schedule under that. Not sure yet, but would love a favorites section to be able to tell at a glance if my team is playing today/tonight
