      @ronny3050 @d3r - It’s £11 in the UK, bit of a difference to the US price

      Woah that’s expensive compared to the amazon.com one. I’m in Canada and ordered mine from amazon us because it had a guaranteed delivered of 2 weeks after purchase. Mine cost about $5.
      Edit: I think the one sold by freedi on amazon us ships worldwide. It ships from hong kong.

      This is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IR8R7WQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

      It works absolutely fantastic.

      This. Amazon used this mic in their guide to the alexa pi as well.
      I ordered mine last week hasn’t arrived yet.

    • RE: Garmin Connect Integration

      @scarri that’s pretty cool.
      I thought we had to pay to get access to the garmin api.

    • RE: Strava widget

      @ianperrin That looks pretty good.
      I’ve never worked with api’s and done such coding. It will take me a few hours to get accustomed to the process. Will keep you updated.

    • Strava widget

      I like running and usually bike from time to time. I usually log all my activities on strava. Would it be possible to create a strava module. A weekly activity widget similar to this
      link text

      Would people be interested in that?

      I would be willing to try to develop it myself. I did some C coding when I was at uni. Could someone point me to the right direction on how to start it. Is there a newbie guide to coding I can follow.

      Thanks

    • RE: Looking for Beta-testers!

      This would be a separate install, right?

    • RE: Amazon Echo/Alexa

      I also have Amazon alexa running on my rpi alongside the MM2. I say mirror, mine is on a monitor on my desk and I use it as dashboard/calendar/newscenter. I also have amazon alexa running on it. I used the guide amazon uploaded.

      So the way I currently have it set up is I have the MM running on full screen and have put the alexa module as always “show on top” so I can use a mouse button to click and control alexa, while at the same time still see the other modules. Ideally, I would like to embed the alexa voice control module in the MM2. Is that something that would be possible to do?
