I just finished a small MagicMirror² module called MMM-DailyMetArt.

It fetches a random public-domain artwork from The Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection API and shows it beautifully on your mirror.

You can choose where the text goes (top, bottom, left, right), pick your own font sizes and colors, and toggle things like title, artist, date, and medium. It also refreshes automatically once a day (or at whatever interval you set) — safely within API limits.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been following this forum for almost 10 years, and I’m writing my first entry now. Is there a post or platform for people in the US, Europe, and other countries where you can list or rate products you’ve used and enjoyed?

For people living in countries like Germany and the Netherlands, it might be much more convenient to quickly assemble a DIY kit, assemble the final product, and then hang the mirror.

What are your thoughts on this? If such a list or post existed, how would it be managed, etc.? How can everyone benefit and contribute most effectively?
