@nneuland , If the PIR sensor does not work, the mirror does not work.

    • RE: Need a Magic Mirror Built

@wonderground342 , Hi, I have one built but I don’t know how it can be packaged for shipping. It has no frame, is sensitive to transport. In what country are you? Size 65 x 40 cm.

@bkeyport , hi, after you made the last change to the module, I deleted it and installed it again. Everything was OK. A few days ago, I restarted the mirror. It’s been a day late since then. If I restart it in the morning (am) it’s ok. The problem occurs if I restart it in the afternoon (pm). IMG_20210627_071222551_HDR.jpg IMG_20210627_172822772_HDR.jpg

@cheapdad , Hi, what’s the connection between HDMI and PIR? I built three mirrors, all three have adapters and use PIR.

    • RE: Two-Way Film Recommendations

@joeronimo, I tried film but it didn’t work. Acceptable quality was with acrylic. Because the acrylic is quite thin and the reflected image was “in waves” I glued it on a thin glass and the reflection was much better. The next step was the mirror glass. Of course, the most successful mirror. It doesn’t make sense to spend money for components, frame and monitor but with film. The result will be unsatisfactory.

@bkeyport , The watch is ok. Yesterday I restarted it in the afternoon and now it works correctly. When I restarted it in the morning, the date did not change correctly. Could this be a problem? I use this calendar in two mirrors. I restarted the second mirror last time in the afternoon and it works correctly.

    • MMM-Multimonth

      Hello everybody!
A few months ago I installed MMM-Multimonth. It worked without problems but lately it behaves strangely. The date does not change at 24.00, it change at 12.00. I did not change anything in the configuration. Has anyone had this problem before?
      Thanks,

    • RE: calendar shading

@sceetch , hi, open “modules” folder, open “MMM-MyCalendar” folder and “MMM-MyCalendar.css”. There you can change the font, color and size settings.

@jerryp , hi, I also want to use this module but I haven’t tried either. I saw the message “This repository has been archived by the owner. It is now read-only”, so doesn’t make sense to try. Maybe @Sean want to be the only on user :)

    • RE: SD Card - Full

      @sdetweil , how I edit config.js to add a module:
      config folder: Open
      config.js: Open
      config module: Paste
So, I opened a terminal in Config folder, df -k command, I sow, the SD is full 95%.
I wrote in this terminal “pm2 flush”, I tried also “sudo pm2 flush” and the answer was “command not found”.
In which terminal do I have to type this command?

    • SD Card - Full

Hi, I have a problem. The mirror starts very slowly, sometimes it crashes, sometimes it does not restart with “sudo reboot”. I assume the SD card is full. I don’t know how to check.
I don’t know how to edit the config.js and remove debug from the logLevel list. I asked this in a post “SD Card - no Space” and the answer was a link.
Does anyone have the time and patience to explain in detail all the steps to solve this problem?
      Thanks,

@sdetweil , hi, I think I have the same problem with the card, the mirror starts very slowly, “sudo reboot” does not always work. Please, can you explain me step by step how to remove debug?
