    • RE: Error - EADDRINUSE

      Sorry, that did not work - error I receive.
      code: ‘EADDRINUSE’,
      errno: ‘EADDRINUSE’,
      syscall: ‘listen’,
      address: ‘[delete]’,

      Yes MM auto-starts on reboot > yes to automated script > I followed these steps: https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/wiki/Auto-Starting-MagicMirror.

      The current error when I run

      pm2 restart mm

      I’ve just checked and I do not have a doc electron.js from this source - ./node_modules/.bin/electron js/electron.js.

      I remember that all I did was type kill in the terminal and killed a number - what mess have I caused!!! I’m so sorry :(

      The instructions I followed - I stopped after I entered kill and the number (I think mine began with a 5 or 9)

    • RE: No numbers in analog watch face
      1. Haha thanks guys - that worked!

      Very good point in regard to ‘‘how you update the code if you don’t know to create custom.css?’’- I previouly edited the config.js, clock.js and clock_styles.css > I created a really pretty analog clock with the centre, second hand, minute and hour each with different colours.

      1. For some reason I thought that a custom.css was really technical but I easily created this from my terminal.

      For what it’s worth, I’ve connected to a few APIs and have configued these in the main confg folder and the css’s.

      Going forward I’m going to play with customising the default modules (well the ones which I haven’t hidden in the main config file) in the custom CSS.

      Thanks again Xx

    • Error - EADDRINUSE

      Hi everyone, I’m new to MM and coding.

      Situation - when I ran , I received an odd note in my terminal (copied the below from Google).

      Error: listen EADDRINUSE: address already in use :::8080
          at Server.setupListenHandle [as _listen2] (net.js:1258:14)
          at listenInCluster (net.js:1306:12)
          at Server.listen (net.js:1394:7)

      I found some instructions online and then KILLED something in the terminal (again copied from Google):

      node 2464 murari 21u IPv6 4392639 0t0 TCP *:http-alt

      So I killed MY PID which was a different number and I’ve sort of fucked up my MM.

      When I run the MM, I receive this error now - could someone please help? Thank you Xx

      code: 'EADDRINUSE',
        errno: 'EADDRINUSE',
        syscall: 'listen',
        address: '[deleted]',
        port: 8080
      }

    • RE: No numbers in analog watch face

      @hango Thanks Hango.

      1. I have updated the code (still not working presumably because of point 3 below)
      2. I don’t know where to download the old SVG faces - when I installed MM there was/is a folder full of SVG clock faces
      3. Please don’t laugh - I don’t know how to create/use a custom css folder - I plan to learn this soon! X

    • RE: No numbers in analog watch face

      @hango Hi again, I’ve modified my script but it isn’t working:

      .clockCircle {
      margin: 0 auto;
      position: relative;
      border-radius: 50%;
      background-size: 100%;
      background: transparent /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/default/clock/faces(“faces/face-005.svg”) center no-repeat;
      }

      In this context, is url an actual url or my fie path? x

      @hango, THANK YOU :) I have a question - how on Earth did you determine that line 297 from the file needed to be amended? Are you God? Are you a computer scientist? I am in awe of your eagle eye and intelligence! :clapping_hands: :blond-haired_woman: :call_me_hand:

    • Weather forecast - only displaying 3x days (? help)

      Hi everyone,

      My weather forecast’s only displaying three days and not the default 5 (or so). I’ve changed the fault to 7 days and still nothing. Changed the fade as I thought this was hiding the additional days. Nothing.

      I’ve cross-referenced my lines with those from the Weather module in GitHub and mine matches.

      I’d LOVE to display 7 days - and would love your help. Xx ice-cream (https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/tree/master/modules/default/weatherforecast)
