My issue isn’t with the margins.
It’s with the resolution of the monitor…
I’m using a 32" TV as a monitor on my older desktop, and all the modules are overlapping each other. If I zoom out about 8 or 9 times then it looks really good… But I’m getting tired of having to zoom it with every reload. I would like to just be able to set the zoom in the config or other settings. Or, maybe I just need a higher resolution TV???

I would also like to know how to set a zoom level in config.js or in css or anywhere it would work to zoom in automatically when loading…

@Mykle1, got any suggestions or pointers on how to get Alexa (or any voice assisted module) to work on Windows 10???

With any of the default modules… If you made any changes to the .js files or the README.md files, AND, you would like to keep those changes… TRY THIS:

cut and paste any of the default modules from the MagicMirror directory to any other directory.
You also need to do the same for the package.json, package-lock.json, and your config.js file if there are any additional modules that have been added.

then do the ‘git pull $$ npm install’

when it is done, replace those files in the new MagicMirror that just got installed with the ones you saved from your old MagicMirror.

then do ‘npm rebuild’

It took a couple of times starting the MagicMirror to get all the changes to take…

this also fixes the currentweather module problem…

and the blank screen problem…

git clone https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror.git

I tried this command:
git checkout --track origin/develop

And got this return:
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

How do I change to developer mode?

This is really cool.
Now, I would like to see how to do something like this for each module…

I’ve been working on a MagicMirror to run soley on Windows 10 platform.

I have it setup on 2 desktops and a laptop.

I am willing to be your Windows tester or at least one of them. I haven’t seen anyone commenting anywhere about actively doing this, so I figure i am part of a very small circle.

It’s an awesome project and I’ve only ran into a few minor issues.

Anyone else out there doing the same, I would love to collaborate.
