@michmich The link works for me. Odd. However I had used the dutch one. That worked. Now I’m part of a club. Lol.

RE: Pandora
@cowboysdude Not using pandora here and until now haven’t made a whole module myself so I have no need for this currently.
But it’s a very good case for a module. Might try to do one if the 10 other things I’d like to do first with the mirror are finished :-) -
RE: MM Error - .AppleDouble and UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning
@bolish Well at first I would rule out:
MMM-Wunderlist
MMM-remote-control
MMM-SystemStats
calendar_monthly
all in defaultI have these as well and not the message you’re finding.
What you could try out:
There is a module MMM-Logging by @shbatm giving the logging output more detail. It’s easy to install and you don’t need to configure anything.
That module could be able to show where the unhandled promise reection is sitting. -
RE: Glossy or Non-Glossy Display
@thedk So what’s your conclusion?
It’s difficult to really see the difference from the pictures.
And what types of Mirastar and Mirropane have you chosen and where have you bought them (I’m from germany as well) -
RE: has anyone used any of the charting tools, like chartjs?
I have now used chartjs as well on the MMM-rain-forecast module by @cirdan and SpoturDeal.
I like it and there are some plugins to use as well.
First results can be achieved very quickly, but if you want to change further specific things, it’s getting difficult with the various objects.@sdetweil do you know of a complete set of options for chartjs? I find the documentation a bit too short and confusing.

RE: Pandora
@anhanyoung Try it out, it’s worth it, and node.js and js are really easy to learn If you have programmed before

RE: New Project! I think!
Well there is an MMM-OpenHab module already.
You might find a way to use it or expand it.Regarding speech commands: It might be possible to use one of the local speech recognition modules here (Lucy?) to send commands to the Openhab module or even to your local Openhab server. You wouldn’t have to use google then…
Just a thought and not very much thought through… -
RE: Glossy or Non-Glossy Display
@thedk It’s also very important to have no light coming to the glass from behind. However your setup is, make sure that it is as dark as possible behind the glass.

RE: How to start
- Install the latest Raspbian WITH desktop environment (but without recommended software) on your SD card from here
- Fire up your RasPi 3B+, set up wifi or lan, SSH, and everything you would set up for a running Raspbian system (if you donÄt know why, you will first have to make yourself acquainted with Raspbian itself.
- Open the console (directly on the RasPi or via ssh) and follow installation procedure given on github
- Enjoy!

RE: PM2 does not start the Magic Mirror
@dariocas So the error message was created on startup of the mirror? And the mirror did not start?
Can you start the mirror without pm2?cd ~/MagicMirror npm start dev
Can you post the complete log of the process?
Can you post what is inside the file that was created for the pm2 process?Still not enough information to help, sorry.
