When running npm start, all the modules load, and then when it gets to the face-recon module, underneath it says ‘python terminated’. After installing many many dependencies, I believe I have all of them properly installed. And config check yielded no errors
Hi there! Can I please have some assistance with this module? I am near complete with my smart display and im having some issues with getting the face detection working.
I have OpenCV installed (i believe, finally). My device is updated to the latest kernal. My camera functions as well. I just cannot figure out how to get the module to actually work.
When I added to module to the config.js, I ran the configuration check and it all passes. But when I load the MM, my screen goes black with no modules loading. I haven’t created my dataset yet, but just not sure if im even at that point yet.
Hi all!. I am very pleased with my MM. And its time to add the next round of modules but I do not know what currently works. I tried a few things which failed and I’m curious what other people are using right now. Can anybody show me what modules are currently working to add Facial recognition and Alexa or Google assistant? I want my MM to recognize me and do lookups with voice control
Does anybody know how to get Pages on The MM cuz all of my attempts failed. The config checks never pass

@sdetweil it was missing alot of dependencies and giving alot of errors when I tried before. Is it a good known install?
Hi all!
I am very eager to create my first magic mirror. I recently got my hands on a Pi 0, and I saw a bunch of tutorials claiming that it can be done on the Zero. I quickly got to work setting it up and downloading packages.
Twice I got stuck at the stage I am at now. When I try to boot MM from the terminal either nothing happens or I get a error. Or if I reboot into the mirror, I am able to see it booting but then it kicks me back to the desktop.
I am very unaware what my issue could be at this point. Electron, NPM, and Node are installed and latest. Any suggestions?
