What changes are you doing for serve the MagicMirror in HTTPs?

The full path of the location is /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/myModule/public/myFile.htm

According to the documentation this file should be reachable from http://localhost:8080/myModule/myFile.htm
but this doesnt work.

After tried several different combinations i’ve found that this one works.
http://localhost.8080/modules/myModule/public/myFile.htm

Have i misread the documentation or is that an error?

Shouldn’t the files in the public folder be accessible from a browser?

Now I know that my problem wasn’t that I was not signed in. I probably shouldn’t try to have two versions of the mirror (one as a backup on GitHub and one that is showing). Maybe this is somehow messing things up for me.

Well, It’s something at now I dont know how figure out.

If main Electron MagicMIrrror app is starter in FullScreen Mode, without menu bar, etc… I think is not possible -maybe yes- create a new window with these attributes and not full screen.

I’m curious about this as well, I currently have a link to some JSON output which I’d want to display some of the results on the mirror. I was wondering if a module that’s currently out there can be tinkered with to perform this kind of thing.

@mortenbirkelund I’ve made two touch modules, none of them swipe, but anything you can do with a mouse you can add to MM via javascript events, like click etc etc.

There are more profile/module selection modules to hide and show different kind of modules, they don’t need facial recognition, they can get input from any source, more or less.

If i understand this sentence right, this mirror is a chrome based mirror with a transmission value of 3%
The problem is, 3% is too strong and in bright illuminated room you didn’t really can read the white words from behind the mirror.
Better a value of 8%!
