Better mirrors?
I built my MM with this acrylic mirror. And it works well enough. However, I’d never confuse it with a real mirror. Even when MM is off. It distorts just a slight bit.
Are there better mirrors out there. That look more like a mirror.

Is there anyway to put MagicMirror and/or RPi to sleep on schedule?
I’d rather not have my MagicMirror on during the night or between work hours when no one is at home.
Is there a way to turn it on based on a schedule. For instance:

Is there such a thing as a flat HDMI cable?
The monitor I am using has a perpendicular HDMI cable connector. So as a result, the cable sticks out too far. Is there such a thing as a flat HDMI cable that plugs in so that it won’t stick out? I am having trouble finding one.

RE: Any ideas for mounting RPi onto the back of the monitor?
@BKeyport Yeah, ended up with just tape. Not elegant, but seems to work.

@planet4 Wow, that’s next level. Fantastic. I am planning to move to a new house this year and you gave me lots of ideas for renovating.

Any ideas for mounting RPi onto the back of the monitor?
The mirror I built is not very deep, thus I need to mount the RPi 4 right on the back of the monitor somehow.
I am thinking velcro - would that be safe? Or anything else. I have a 3D printer so I could print out anything, if that helps.
Basically looking for ideas from people who have built mirrors before.

Any newsfeed sources from Philippines available?
I am building a MM for someone from Philippines and I’d like to add some feeds from that country. I don’t speak the language.
Does anyone know of any such sources?
