@S374n yes, MagicMirror will run on a system with a touch screen We don’t provide any touch support in the base modules, but there are a few. Chores has one The os is not important. MagicMirror runs on Windows, Linux or Mac

Quick update: it was the Pi clock not set to the same time zone. once calendar and PI time zones matched, it works perfectly.
