I too am brown. Again the non-stereotypical type. I don’t have any direct experience with this, but what if you just removed the RPi? Then it’s just a monitor and you shouldn’t have to even pull it out of your carry-on. Chances are they’ll inspect regardless, but you shouldn’t have any major issues. You can clearly see where all the wires are going. good luck!

I’m quite interested in developing a sports ticker similar to the one on ESPN. I’m a mechanical engineer, so while building the mirror was a breeze, coding is not my strong suite.

I currently use MMM-MyScoreboard by jclarke0000 and I love it for tracking the exact teams i’m interested in, but it takes a up a lot of space if i were to use it for all sports. I’m most interested in football scores for all the conferences.

I was thinking that there are few Stock tickers built by some other developers and there is an ESPN api that can be used, but i’m not sure how to get everything talking. Can anyone help?

Does the NCAAM not support displaying the teams involved in the NCAA March madness bracket challenge?

Hey! Love the scoreboard. Today I was trying to get the NCAAM to work, but no teams in the bracket challenge came up. Is that something still in progress? Is there a way to add that functionality?

Excellent! Love the support for college football groups. Now if only there was a way you could use the top 25 of the conference as a group. The group would continually change, but if only it could be automatic and update off of an ESPN RSS feed or something.
