@Gamble the weater open maps isn’t working .
Use a different module . If you configuration isn’t loading delet use the sample copy its rename it as a copy.
Change the sample
Config.js
Start again .
I deleted the weather module
Add found a different on the works modules .
Reinstall everything.
Once you get to a point of things working put an ad card adpter
In the pi with a new sd card make a copy.
This if you get stuck and can’t fix use your backup copy
But remember copy that one.

All bracks with a }, have to line up in your code config file.
.and try to line up module inline with others.

as in space x test flight go wrong well learn more evey time we fix it.

Once your git things working get mini adapter use copy sd card on the pi it take a while but things go wrong you can start agin with your copy .

Hi yes mine not loading try reloading a new app key from open weather maps wait 2 hour before starting it up . create a new api you can delete you old one

Test
Get eventing read go out shopping or if your like I can wait ha ha

It may be broke .

I just read it take 2 hours for your app to be activated so put a new one in . You can delete you old one in weather maps creat a new one like say
Romford it should then appear and say activated
Add to your file again wait .
I am having a simpler problem as mine isn’t loading
So going try again tomorrow.

Hi what best way to install Googleassistant or Alexa on my magicmirror2 from modules 3rd part it has pubnub you enter in the configuration file .
If you use Googleassistant. Bugsounet.ft it put a configuration fill with no need for pubnub.

Which one works the best or is there a better way all together. I’ve had trouble configuring it to work properly. Should go to Google cloud consol .
I’ve had trouble registering its a bit confusing.
I have done Web application. Oaths credentials downloaded the file credentials put it into Googleassistant.

No sound from dac but still get sound from hdmi I may do away with dac just hdmi if can’t fix it .
I had sound I put some modules on then no sound
Add shopping list its show up but just say loading but never loads , add play music usb stick add pir sensor
Not tested yet. I may remove them one at time to see if changes anything.

I would use a raspberry pi 4 but your need get a good way powering it up as it need a power supple with 3.1 amps

I am using a raspberry pi 3 as it easer to get power to the pi but its up to you which one to go with .

just think of how you going to get right amps to the pi so you only have to use one cable TV Monitor laptop screen with driver board.
when i did my first magic mirror i solder the wire inside an 3amp power plug that fitted into the back of my mirror you could do that with a raspberry pi 4 plug a spur from the main incoming with to your monitor TV etc.

anyone have a better way of powering up the pi 4 to tv

I have not setup your app yet , every time I add the remote file to my config in stop what am I doing wrong

I set this up on my old mirror and it worked please change the code so it will work.
or am I just pasting it in wrong?
