Kitchen Dashboard
-
Hello community
I would like to introduce you to my Magicmirror solution, which is not a mirror at all, but our Kitchen Dashboard.
The solution is built into a cabinet door that opens upwards.
Realized with an LCD display from a old laptop, a LCD board and a Pi4.
I use the following modules
Calendar
Weather
MMM-PublicTransportHafas
MMM-WIFIPassword
MMM-Globe
MMM-MyCommute
MMM-NowPlayingOnSpotify
MMM-BringTo save power, the LCD board is switched on by a motion detector, which I use for lighting in the kitchen anyway.
After one hour without movement the LCD board is switched off again. Thanks to all who developed the great modules and keep them alive.
The next version I already in planning with touch display

@boehmch Nice.
Is the assembly on back side so you can pull it forward to gain access to hardware?
Ahh, it hides the microwave. That is slick. -
Great project 👍. Can you share more about the LCD board being used?
